The Brother Carl Institute for Violence Prevention is designed to support both immediate and long-term goals to reduce community and gun violence locally and nationally by providing training, supervision, to victims, families, and community members. The curriculum is comprised of evidence-based strategies to help reduce violence.
BCHI partnered with law enforcement specialists, government officials, mental health providers, entrepreneurs, artist, educators, and social workers, to educate individuals on the trauma caused by violence. Providing practical and clinical approaches for participants to use when interacting with victims and perpetrators of violence.
